Our Vision
The Pacific Islands Centre for Public Administration (PICPA) is a specialist centre which responds to the needs and plans identified by Pacific Island Countries (PICs) for strengthened public administration to enable improved service delivery to their people and foster economic growth.
Our Mission
To provide sound and timely advice and services to each Pacific Island Country (PIC) with the objective of improving the workforce development capabilities of their public administrations at regional and national levels and the individual competencies of their staff in public administration.

It is housed within The University of the South Pacific and works with the Public Service Commissions and other key central agencies (such as the Office of the Prime Minister/President and Ministry of Finance of PIC governments). It responds to the identified needs expressed by PIC governments.
